Amarone della Valpolicella Classico

Classification

Gentleness

First vintage of Bertani Amarone.

Tasting Notes

Deep, tawny port nose of warm, baked red fruits and demerara sugar. Fruit of immense youth; almost shimmers with life and vibrancy. A vinous style, svelte and intense, without heaviness. A long, purely fruited finish. This is linear and lithe; tender and supple (only 14.1% alcohol). Self-confident in its understatement. Full of energy at 64 years old. — MW Nick Jackson

Master of wine

It's a very elegant wine, and the palate is even fresher than the nose. A great testimony to this new style of wine.
