Deep, almost vintage port-like nose of immense fruity intensity, all macerated dark fruits and bitter dark chocolate. Even a meaty, gamey edge here; immensely compelling and attention.grabbing. Full bodied, rich, generous; certainly a baroque style, full of flamboyant fruit and a huge chocolatey finish. A wine of immense stature. A fantastic wine with decades left to run. — MW Nick Jackson
