Tasting Notes
Mature and elegant on the nose, with mellow spices and fruits. Powerful fruit on the palate though; chunky and confrontational with a density that is unexpected. Forthright, unreserved and unapologetic. The fruit shows a gorgeous, piney, resinous character. Could be the youngest drinking wine of the 1960s; feels somewhat teenaged in its unresolved potential. Almost unbelievably, this will continue to improve for at another 10-20 years, as the fruit softens. — MW Nick Jackson
