dal 1857
Classification
Harmony
Average spring, temperatures and rainfall. Warm and sunny summer.
Tasting Notes
Deep, minty, resinous nose. Less obviously fruity and woody instead (but not oaky). Chunky, chewy fruit; lots of tannin still and huge depth of fruit. Almost unexpected after the nose which hints at a restrained style, but this is a big wine. Well balanced though; a classic Bertani Amarone of finesse and controlled hedonism — MW Nick Jackson

Style
Harmony
These wines are balanced, classically proportioned, showing grace, equanimity and poise. Usually they show more vibrancy than the gentle wines, but less flamboyance than the exuberant wines. These are closest to the Bertani house style.
