Amarone della Valpolicella Classico

Classification

Exuberance

A cool start to the season but a warm finish.

Tasting Notes

A huge nose with a brooding, meaty character. Still plenty of tannins, full bodied, with smoky bacon, dark chocolate flavours and dark fruits. A real mouthful! Dark and concentrated and will benefit from further ageing. A kind of cross between Hermitage and Châteauneuf-du-Pape. — MW Nick Jackson
