A cool early summer gave way to better conditions.
Tasting Notes
Complexity here on the nose: a lovely fan of pine and cedar aromas with an orangey Mediterranean quality. Very bright but weightless fruit, fresh and pure. This started off slow but after an hour emerges from its chrysalis to offer a particularly fresh, saline, appetizing Amarone, a very expressive table wine in the elegant Bertani style. Not quite at the level of the very best, but appetizing and complex. Pretty gorgeous in an intellectual style. — MW Nick Jackson

Style
Harmony
These wines are balanced, classically proportioned, showing grace, equanimity and poise. Usually they show more vibrancy than the gentle wines, but less flamboyance than the exuberant wines. These are closest to the Bertani house style.
