Amarone della Valpolicella Classico

Classification

Finesse

A hot and dry summer.

Tasting Notes

A particularly complex, tobacco, sweet leather nose. A wonderful piney, woody, cedary taste. Exceptional in an intricate, lacy, dry style; showing all the complexity of the terroir in a svelte, elegant package. I love this style but it is no blockbuster. Superb aromatic distinction and purity of taste in a style familiar to Burgundy or Barolo lovers. — MW Nick Jackson
