Amarone della Valpolicella Classico

Classification

Exuberance

A hot and dry summer ended with rain during harvest.

Tasting Notes

Back to the deep, darkly fruited, smoky bacon aromas of the vintages of the 1980s – a rich, full nose. Very thickly textured and powerfully tannic. Loose knit, with huge impact and authority. Does not leave you cold! Wild, meaty, untamed. Made me think of Hermitage or Priorat. — MW Nick Jackson

An unique speed and drinkability in the mouth, which is the characteristic that distinguishes the great vintages of Amarone Classico Bertani.

Style

Exuberance

These wines showed an extrovert character, usually with intense aromas, rich fruit and an overall sensuality.
