Tasting Notes
Classic, dusty Italian nose with irresistible plummy fruit. Rich, sweet and full; much more body than the older wines. Good mid-palate plummy concentration à la Pomerol. Lots of velvety tannins. Pretty seamless style if still young. Not unduly demonstrative; reassuringly middle of the road and an ideal winter warmer wine. Mouthfilling and soft. So much pleasure today! — MW Nick Jackson
