Amarone della Valpolicella Classico

Classification

Exuberance

Excellent conditions in September and October ensured a successful vintage.

Tasting Notes

Peppery spice with some sour dark cherry liqueur notes; a touch over-ripe, perhaps. Very sweet and rich; hedonistic in its intensity and Châteauneuf-du.Pape-like wild sweetness. Lacking a little structure, but the concentration of fruit is impressive. A liqueur like finish. — MW Nick Jackson
