dal 1857
Classification
Exuberance
A famously hot, dry vintage resulted in an early harvest with a reduced yield.
Tasting Notes
Big booming nose of orange zest and warm spices. A huge fan of warm spice flavours and a rich, indulgent texture; chocolatey and gourmand. Soft, decadent and mature already. Clearly a warm vintage but well controlled compared to previous wines of similar ripeness. Long, orangey finish. Hard to resist now, and probably at peak. — MW Nick Jackson
