dal 1857
Classification
Harmony
A hot summer with good diurnal temperature variation in September were the ingredients for an excellent vintage.
Tasting Notes
A nose of almonds and raspberry compote – so appealing! Just a touch of cognac in there too. Quite a dry style, measured and balanced but with good bite. A middle way between hedonism and intellectualism. Really delicious albeit not yet giving its full measure of pleasure; it needs another 10 years. — MW Nick Jackson

Style
Harmony
These wines are balanced, classically proportioned, showing grace, equanimity and poise. Usually they show more vibrancy than the gentle wines, but less flamboyance than the exuberant wines. These are closest to the Bertani house style.
