Amarone della Valpolicella Classico

Classification

Exuberance

Another variable summer but with a harvest carried out in good conditions.

Tasting Notes

Considerable ripeness expressed in a dark, spicy, heady nose. Massive tannins and concentration of fruit! Not flamboyant so much as writ large in every way; difficult to approach now. A soaring vintage of great vertical tension and stature. An epic wine with an eternal life ahead; do not touch for 20 years. — MW Nick Jackson
