Lugana Le Quaiare

The morainic hills to the south of Lake Garda. The vineyards are situated in the historical and most prestigious part of the appellation, between the municipalities of Desenzano del Garda and Sirmione.

In stainless steel tanks for about 3 months, during which the wine rests on the fine lees at the end of fermentation. To give the wine a vibrant character, the settled lees are stirred back into the wine twice a week. Thanks to this careful management, the wine takes on more complexity and sapidity.

It has a straw-yellow colour and an intensely fruity nose with marked notes of pear, peach and apricot. The floral notes, combined with sea breeze overtones, add complexity and liveliness to the wine. The palate is fresh and sapid with a pleasant chalky finish, which makes it particularly suitable for social gatherings and with light dishes typical of Mediterranean cuisine.
